Privacy policy
Effective November 2, 2026
TSG Network (network.solopreneurgroup.com) is run by The Solopreneur Group, LLC ("TSG", "we"). It's where the creators we represent and the companies that sponsor them work with us. Accounts are by invitation. This policy explains what the service collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions go to network@solopreneurgroup.com.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name and email address, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google. Sign-in is handled by Clerk.
- Your work with us. What you enter or upload in the service: details of your publication or company, campaigns and briefs, drafts and files, publishing dates and links, and performance numbers you report.
- Signatures. When you sign or accept an agreement in the service, we record the signer's name and title, the time, and the IP address and browser used, as the record of the signature.
- Invoices and payments. Amounts, dates and invoice details. Payments and payouts run through Mercury, our bank; bank account details are held by Mercury, not stored in the service.
- Published posts' public stats. For sponsored posts you've published through us, we read the numbers the platform shows publicly (views, likes, comments, shares), so sponsor reports don't depend on you sending them.
- Link clicks. Sponsored posts carry tracked short links. When someone clicks one, our link provider records the click, with the approximate location and device type derived from the request, so we can report results.
- Technical data. Logs of requests to the service, and the cookies that keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To run the work: bookings, drafts and reviews, publishing, reporting, agreements, invoices and payments.
- To send you notices about that work by email.
- To report results to the sponsor of a campaign, limited to what your agreement with us provides for.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture, and use them only to create and identify your account. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We don't sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Who we share it with
- The other side of your work. A sponsor sees the details of placements it buys and their results; a creator sees the brief and the terms of work offered to them.
- Service providers that run parts of the service for us, under contracts that limit their use of your data: Clerk (sign-in), Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Inngest (background jobs), Resend (email), Dub (short links), Mercury (payments) and Apify (reading public post stats).
- When the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and the security of the service.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, under this policy's protections.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep account and work records for as long as we work together, and afterwards as long as we need them for agreements, accounting and legal obligations (financial records usually seven years).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for a purpose. Email network@solopreneurgroup.com. We'll respond within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights under local law, including complaining to your data protection authority. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performing our agreement with you, our legitimate interest in running the service, and compliance with the law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our providers. Every request runs with access limited to what your account may see, enforced in the database itself. No system is perfectly secure; if something happens that affects you, we'll tell you.
International transfers
We're based in the United States and our providers process data there. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Children
The service is for professionals and isn't directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for material changes we'll tell account holders by email before they take effect.
